Job Description
Healthcare consultant supporting the governance and operational oversight of Oracle Health Clinical AI capabilities in a large academic health system. Establishing frameworks, policies, and processes for responsible AI adoption while maintaining clinical quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design role-based AI governance frameworks and access control models for physicians, APPs, fellows, and residents.
- Develop provider enablement and adoption strategies, including competency-based access approaches and residency training considerations.
- Create policies, procedures, and operational standards for AI-assisted clinical workflows, documentation, and provider accountability.
- Establish monitoring, quality assurance, and oversight processes to evaluate AI performance, adoption, and clinical impact.
- Partner with clinical, operational, compliance, informatics, and executive stakeholders to align AI initiatives with organizational objectives and risk tolerance.
- Facilitate governance discussions, stakeholder workshops, and executive presentations related to AI strategy and implementation.
- Support workflow integration, change management, communications, and adoption planning throughout the deployment lifecycle.
- Provide recommendations for sustainable governance and operational models that support long-term AI expansion across the organization.
Requirements:
- 5–10+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, clinical operations, healthcare IT, informatics, or EMR implementation.
- Experience supporting clinical workflow transformation, provider documentation initiatives, or healthcare technology adoption programs.
- Strong understanding of healthcare governance, policy development, and organizational change management.
- Demonstrated ability to work with physician leaders, operational stakeholders, and executive teams.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Preferred Experience with AI governance, responsible AI programs, or clinical AI implementation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Oracle Health (Cerner) workflows, clinical documentation, and provider-facing technologies.
- Familiarity with graduate medical education (GME), residency training programs, and clinical supervision requirements.
- Experience developing clinical policies, operational procedures, or quality oversight frameworks in healthcare settings.
