Job Description
AI Voice Engineer responsible for optimizing low-latency conversational AI applications. Building advanced LLMs for a large eCommerce brand in the health and wellness space.
Responsibilities:
- Work hands-on with leading commercial voice platforms like ElevenLabs
- Design, build, and fine-tune custom Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Architect and implement solutions to achieve ultra-low latency
- Seamlessly integrate the conversational AI system with core business infrastructure
- Develop advanced and context-aware prompts
- Implement robust guardrails based on sales scripts
- Design and execute split testing protocols
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code primarily in Python
- Build and maintain n8n workflows to orchestrate outbound call triggers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Proven ability to optimize voice applications for low-latency performance
- Expert-level proficiency in Python
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong understanding of data pipelines and training custom LLMs/fine-tuning models
- Demonstrable experience integrating AI models with external business APIs
- Deep expertise in prompt engineering and conversational design principles
- Experience in setting up and analyzing A/B testing metrics
- Familiarity with telephony APIs (e.g., Twilio, Vonage)
