Job Description

Artificial Intelligence Engineer building Copilot-powered automation, RAG, and embedded AI for Emergifi’s credit-union platform. Delivering secure, compliant solutions that improve member experiences and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement task-oriented and conversational agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI services
  • Integrate agents with Beastro microservices and APIs for secure, reliable tool execution
  • Build and optimize end-to-end automations with Power Automate, AI Builder, and Dataverse
  • Embed AI capabilities into Beastro user journeys, including guided assistance, knowledge retrieval, and decision support
  • Develop automated test harnesses for agents and flows, including synthetic data generation, unit/integration testing, regression packs, and non-functional tests
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, and SLOs using platform telemetry
  • Utilize Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Search/vectorization patterns for RAG and grounded responses
  • Govern data products and features consumed by agents
  • Implement role-based access, environment strategies, DLP, data residency controls, and human-in-the-loop safeguards
  • Partner with Risk/Compliance to align automations to financial-services standards such as Nacha/ACH and NCUA/FFIEC
  • Build reusable connectors, APIs, and solution components
  • Manage secrets, certificates, and identity using OAuth 2.0/OIDC
  • Contribute to CI/CD, environment promotion, and change management for AI solutions
  • Troubleshoot incidents across agents, workflows, and data pipelines
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions with runbooks and dashboards
  • Create and maintain solution design documents, data dictionaries, prompt/grounding specifications, and operational guides
  • Deliver knowledge transfer to operations and business teams
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Requirements:

  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and AI Builder
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience with Azure AI, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search
  • Experience with Teams/Graph connectors
  • Practical experience designing RAG solutions, including embedding generation, chunking strategies, grounding, and evaluation
  • Experience with secure action and connector patterns for agents
  • Proficiency with REST/JSON APIs
  • Experience with eventing and webhooks
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0/OIDC identity
  • Experience with secrets management
  • Experience with telemetry and observability, including App Insights and Log Analytics
  • Scripting/programming skills in Python, C#/.NET, or TypeScript
  • Power Fx skills for Power Platform components
  • Strong grasp of testing automation for flows and agents, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • Knowledge of environment strategies and managed solution packaging
  • Understanding of data governance, DLP, RBAC, and responsible-AI guardrails for production workloads in financial services
  • UIPath experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years building AI-enabled solutions or intelligent automations using Microsoft’s cloud and Power Platform
  • 2+ years developing production automations or agents with Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or Azure AI
  • Experience embedding AI into digital products, preferably in fintech or credit union domains
  • Proven delivery of secure, compliant, and observable AI/automation solutions with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors
