Job Description
Associate Scientist supporting quantitative results from imaging studies at Perceptive. Collaborating with team members on data processing and analysis tasks for various imaging modalities.
Responsibilities:
- Process and quantify image data (PET, SPECT, CT, MR, BLI, CFT)
- Analyze image data and associated non-image data to derive study outcomes
- Generate summary output materials for clients (images, plots, statistics, reports)
- Manage documentation and organize study data in online project repositories
- Independently review data and study outputs and communicate findings and anomalies with the study team
- Identify workflow pain points and recommend/support implementation of improvements
- Automate workflows by creating novel or modifying existing scripting tools
- Apply data analysis skill set to effectively utilize in-house developed software (VivoQuant, iPACS) and provide testing and feedback on new features
- Provide guided software development (Python, VivoScript) or testing support to improve workflows and new tools (up to 20% of time)
Requirements:
- BS/MS in a relevant technical field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, physics, or chemistry)
- 0-1 years of relevant academic or industry experience
- Python or other programming experience preferred
- Experience with image analysis preferred
- English: Fluent
