Job Description
Azure software developer building Quest Software’s enterprise endpoint management platform. Developing full-stack, Azure-based commercial products within a remote agile SCRUM team.
Responsibilities:
- Work on an R&D team building a client/server MDM protocol-enabled endpoint management platform using Microsoft Azure technologies
- Build commercial products that manage various device types across multiple operating systems
- Participate in an agile SCRUM team and produce high-quality code meeting business requirements
- Take on design activities for components and take ownership of their successful implementation
- Design, develop, and successfully implement software using current software best practices
Requirements:
- Completion of a computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in software development
- Full Stack Development – C#/.NET Core
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development, including the use of coding agents
- Experience in working with Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience in writing quality code with techniques such as unit testing, mocking, automation, integration testing, and code coverage
- Good understanding of modern software practices including design patterns, SOLID principles, coding standards, and agile software development practices
- Ability to work within a microservice architecture
- Solid understanding of building scalable web applications using WebAPI, RESTful API design
- Developing and maintaining CD/CI pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar systems
- Experience with Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Data Explorer
- Ability to produce and document designs and specifications for new features and services
- Experience working with multiple agile development teams
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Nice to have: Experience building Cloud Native applications using Azure or AWS using PaaS services
- Nice to have: Experience with claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), JWT, MFA, and RBAC
- Nice to have: Secure Web Development Practices including OWASP and SANS Top 25
- Nice to have: Experience with Terraform to provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure
- Nice to have: Proficiency with Azure Application Insights and Kusto Query Language (KQL)
- Nice to have: Proficiency with Entity Framework (EF Core) and SQL Server databases
- Nice to have: Ability to design and implement OData-enabled APIs using ASP.NET Core
- Nice to have: Experience designing and implementing Angular applications communicating with ASP.NET Core REST APIs
