Job Description
Healthcare Technology Consultant implementing HYDMedia ECM systems in diverse environments. Responsible for Kubernetes operations and customer training with a focus on documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Independently responsible for deploying our HYDMedia ECM® system at customer sites
- Installing and updating HYDMedia ECM in Kubernetes environments
- Operating and maintaining existing Kubernetes installations
- Advising and training our customers
- Preparing documentation
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or a comparable degree/studies
- Professional experience in heterogeneous system environments
- Understanding of IT infrastructures
- Independent, responsible, and goal-oriented working style
- Good written and spoken German
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Kubernetes application operations
- Confident use of kubectl for analysis and troubleshooting: reading Pods, Deployments, Services, Events, and Logs
- Ability to interpret resource status
- Basic debugging (e.g., describe, logs, exec)
- Understanding of key Kubernetes concepts for application operations: Namespaces, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets
- Working with PersistentVolumes / PVCs
- Ability to use Helm to install, update, or configure applications: understand chart structure, adjust values, install/upgrade Helm releases, perform rollbacks
- Solid knowledge of Linux environments: navigation, filesystem, SSH, permissions (chmod/chown)
- Basic knowledge of systemd (checking services, reading logs)
- Basics of TLS certificates: certificate chains, import, renewal, handling PEM/CRT/PFX formats
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or Oracle: analysing connection issues, simple queries, basic understanding of transactions
