Job Description

Backend Developer implementing complex and scalable solutions for Grupo Boticário in a financial product. Collaborate with teams to ensure quality and performance of applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development: Implement medium- to high-complexity, scalable solutions autonomously.
  • Quality and Testing: Ensure clean, secure code with unit and integration test coverage, and participate in code reviews.
  • Security: Apply Security by Design principles throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Maintenance and Observability: Investigate production incidents autonomously and use tracing and logging tools to optimize performance.
  • Architecture and Documentation: Collaborate on the technical design of solutions with specialists and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Innovation and Mentoring: Explore technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and act as a technical reference or informal mentor for junior developers.

Requirements:

  • Proven professional experience in backend software engineering.
  • Technology Stack: Strong command of C# and .NET, plus solid experience with MongoDB and messaging systems (RabbitMQ or similar).
  • Engineering and Quality: Mastery of SOLID principles, object-oriented design, and automated testing (unit and integration).
  • Architecture and Cloud: Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS) and microservices architecture.
  • Security and Performance: Knowledge of application security (e.g., OWASP Top 10), hardening practices, and a track record in optimizing scalability for transactional applications.
  • Business Knowledge: Practical experience and solid understanding of processes and solutions in the financial sector.
  • Innovation and Methodology: Experience or familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science, and strong command of agile methodologies.
