Job Description
Bodily Injury and Homeowners Liability Adjuster handling complex claims for Allstate insurance businesses. Investigating coverage, liability, damages, fraud, subrogation, and injury settlements.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a team development program supporting evolving Bodily Injury and Homeowners Liability claims needs
- Handle a variety of complex claims, including extended handling, litigation, and homeowners liability claims, based on business needs, performance, and development goals
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential and handling approaches for complex cases
- Apply advanced understanding of company insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships
- Investigate complex auto claims involving coverage, liability, and damages with discretion and independence
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims when handled
- Identify vehicle body parts and understand potential property damage
- Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills
- Collaborate with knowledgeable professionals and support customers through challenging situations
Requirements:
- Experienced Adjuster with a background in both Bodily Injury and Homeowners Liability claims
- Advanced understanding of insurance policies, the insurance industry, and organizational relationships
- Experience handling complex auto claims involving coverage, liability, and damages
- Ability to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims
- Knowledge of vehicle body parts and potential property damage
- Ability to determine subrogation or fraud potential
- Appropriate customer service and de-escalation skills
- Litigation experience preferred but not required
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States
- Applicants with an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and cannot hold outside appointments during employment
- Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender it when instructed by the licensing team
- Remote work requires a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions and appropriate desk and seating
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
