Job Description
Business Development Manager driving growth in energy markets for C&I Generation. Building customer relationships and developing strategies for market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute winning business development strategies for C&I Generation markets.
- Identify, qualify and advance new opportunities across natural gas, renewables, nuclear and related sectors.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term customer relationships at all organizational levels.
- Partner with engineering, commercial, legal and product teams to develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct industry and competitive analyses to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Represent Hitachi Energy at conferences, trade shows and industry events.
- Prepare and deliver segment profiles to strengthen marketing and sales initiatives.
- Promote innovation and thought leadership in the C&I space.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus.
- At least 8 years of experience in business development, sales or account management in C&I markets.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and deliver sustained revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of C&I market trends, challenges and technological advancements.
- Skilled communicator able to translate complex technical and commercial concepts.
- Willingness and ability to travel 25–50% for customer engagements and industry events.
