Job Description
Business Development Representative generating healthcare facility referrals for a U.S. home healthcare and staffing provider. Supporting outbound outreach, recruitment, private duty nursing, and credentialing.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, caseworkers, and referral or business partners
- Introduce home healthcare and staffing services
- Explain staffing and private duty nursing services
- Identify facility staffing needs and patient care opportunities
- Communicate with caseworkers regarding private duty nursing services for pediatric patients ages 0–21
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare contacts and referral sources
- Conduct follow-ups and coordinate appointments or follow-up conversations
- Track outreach activity, responses, opportunities, and next steps
- Support recruitment outreach for Medicaid waiver patients and private duty nursing opportunities
- Identify potential patient placements and help match available staff to patient or facility needs
- Coordinate with the internal team on staffing and patient opportunities
- Assist with healthcare credentialing and contact insurance companies regarding requirements and status
- Follow up on outstanding credentialing information
- Maintain accurate credentialing, documentation, and activity records
- Provide administrative and coordination support
- Prepare and submit end-of-day updates and reports
- Work toward approximately 4 new clients per month
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cold calling, outbound outreach, business development, recruitment, appointment setting, or a similar role
- Strong professional phone communication skills
- Confidence initiating conversations with new healthcare and business contacts
- Comfortable conducting a high volume of outbound outreach
- Strong follow-up skills and persistence
- Ability to explain services clearly and professionally
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Recruitment or staffing experience
- Ability to identify opportunities and move conversations toward appropriate next steps
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain accurate outreach records and activity reports
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Results-oriented and comfortable working toward productivity targets
- Reliable, responsive, and consistent
- Must have relevant work experience
- Must provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding
- Must attend video meetings with camera on when required
- Reliable laptop or desktop computer
- Stable high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps
- Noise-canceling headset
- Working webcam
- Quiet and professional work environment
- Healthcare credentialing, healthcare outreach, home healthcare/staffing, Medicaid waiver, private duty nursing, caseworker, insurance credentialing, appointment-setting, HHAeXchange, CRM/call-tracking, or VoIP experience is highly preferred
