Job Description
Remote Certified Public Accountant managing audits, reconciliations, compliance, and financial reporting for US custom manufacturer Cube Care. Supporting strategic business decisions, vendor accounts, inventory, and China purchases.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, organize, and update financial records
- Perform regular, detailed audits of financial documents, expenditures, and investments
- Perform daily reconciliation of credit card, bank, cash, and spending accounts
- Set up financial accounts as needed
- Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivables
- Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns
- Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly
- Keep company financial information confidential
- Ensure vendor accounts are kept up to date across the organization
- Manage inventory
- Manage China purchases
- Provide financial reporting, ensure compliance, and deliver strategic insights for business decisions
Requirements:
- Excellent English verbal and written communication
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Preferably experienced accounting/finance employees specializing in US Accounting System
- Familiarity with accounting applications, modules, and financial statements
- Motivation to exceed expectations while working independently
- Friendly, fast learner who can adapt to change and have a “can-do” attitude
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- Experience in Procurement and Logistics industry is a plus
- Minimum 5th generation Intel i5 processor or equivalent
- Minimum 4.00 GB computer memory/RAM
- Windows 10 or Mac OSX; no Linux, Unix, or other operating system
- Internet speed of 5.0 MBPS or higher on both primary and backup connections
- Required noise-cancelling headset connected via USB port
- Required webcam with at least 3 megapixels capable of 720p recording
