Job Description
Child Psychologist providing remote evidence-based therapy for New York patients at PM Pediatric Care. Treating depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive behavioral health treatment for common primary-care conditions including depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders
- Perform psychosocial assessments
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy
- Participate in collaborative care team meetings
- Develop relationships and referral agreements with community mental health providers
- Monitor service quality and patient progress
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and implementation documentation
- Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to overcome treatment obstacles
Requirements:
- Earned Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA)
- Must have a NY Medicaid Provider Number
- Maintain licensure as required by the licensing board
- Ability to perform psychosocial assessments using evidence-based practices
- Ability to provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities
- Ability to complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning documentation
