Job Description
Advogado(a) cível conduzindo processos de volume na LBCA, escritório full service brasileiro. Elaborando peças, participando de audiências e gerindo estratégias e riscos processuais.
Responsibilities:
- Handle high-volume civil litigation, overseeing the full lifecycle of cases in the assigned portfolio
- Draft pleadings, defenses, appeals, motions, and initial complaints of medium to high complexity
- Attend hearings and deliver oral arguments when necessary
- Define and implement appropriate litigation strategies based on the nature of each matter
- Update case management systems, such as LegalBox, and ensure information is properly organized
- Maintain direct communication with clients, participating in meetings, alignment discussions, and results presentations
- Assist in managing the workflow of matters, prioritizing activities according to deadlines and urgency
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve internal processes
- Monitor risks and propose actions that contribute to the strong performance of the portfolio
Requirements:
- Experience in high-volume civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of Civil Law, Consumer Law, and Civil Procedure
- Experience updating litigation case management systems
- Proactivity, strong client communication skills, and confidence in meetings
- Excellent organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to optimize time and deliverables
- Resilience and willingness to handle challenging situations
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in Civil Procedure or other areas of Civil Law
- Preferred: English-language proficiency
