Job Description
Clinical Trial Navigator reviewing molecular data and coordinating oncology trial referrals for Caris Life Sciences, a precision-medicine company. Liaising with physicians to support patient enrollment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to Caris ordering physicians and clinical teams regarding clinical trial opportunities for their patients
- Build and maintain relationships with Caris ordering sites to support their clinical trial needs
- Review genomic data and clinical information against protocol criteria to assess trial eligibility
- Communicate key trial information clearly and effectively with clinicians
- Track patient statuses and conduct follow-up outreach as needed
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of outreach activities
- Coordinate referrals through Caris’ Right-In-Time (RIT) Network or traditional sponsor sites
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support the commercial organization and business partners
- Serve as a liaison between Caris Life Sciences and physicians ordering Caris molecular profiling
- Leverage proprietary software to review Caris Molecular Intelligence results, prescreen patient eligibility, communicate trial opportunities, and oversee referrals leading to patient enrollment
Requirements:
- Active, Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of five years oncology nursing experience
- Minimum of five years research experience (oncology clinical trials preferred)
- Strong communication skills – the ability to convey complex clinical information clearly and professionally
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN) or higher education (preferred)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) (preferred)
- Experience supporting industry-sponsored clinical trials (preferred)
- Experience with molecular profiling and precision oncology (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Microsoft Excel (preferred)
- Experience working with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and Site Management Organizations (SMOs) (preferred)
- Must possess ability to sit, stand, and/or work at a computer for long periods of time
- Must successfully complete pre-employment process, including criminal background check, drug screening, applicable credit check, and reference verification
