Job Description
Cloud Engineer building and monitoring GDPR-compliant cloud infrastructure for EU services. Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Engineering teams in a remote-friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support EU service operations through our Luxembourg entity to ensure day-to-day GDPR-compliant infrastructure and data handling practices
- Assist with post-audit operational follow-ups for QTSP-related audits, including evidence preparation, remediation tracking, and recurring action items on a daily and weekly basis
- Build and operate and monitor cloud infrastructure environments used for EU services, focusing on availability, access control, logging, and incident readiness
- Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Engineering teams to implement and maintain audit-ready operational processes
- Read and understand infrastructure and application code to support debugging, configuration validation, and operational troubleshooting (good-to-have, not core ownership)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- You are comfortable taking responsibility for operational tasks in a regulated environment and follow through without needing constant supervision
- You have hands-on experience or strong foundational knowledge in cloud infrastructure, system operations, or security-related operations
- You are detail-oriented and understand that compliance, audits, and day-to-day operations require consistency more than heroics
- You can work asynchronously across time zones and communicate clearly with teammates from different cultural and professional backgrounds
- You can communicate effectively in English for documentation and day-to-day collaboration.
