Job Description

Compliance analyst leading CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171 readiness for Logicalis clients. Authoring SSPs, managing remediation, and validating audit evidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead point of contact for the Overwatch Continuous Compliance program
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 10 customers
  • Consult with and guide clients through CMMC 2.0 (Level 2) toward total audit readiness
  • Translate federal mandates into clear technical roadmaps for client leadership and IT teams
  • Architect and author System Security Plans (SSPs)
  • Develop and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), tracking deficiencies and guiding remediation
  • Draft formal security policies reflecting clients’ real-world operations
  • Design and facilitate annual Incident Response and Disaster Recovery tabletop drills
  • Lead evidence collection and verify logs and configurations against C3PAO auditor sufficiency standards
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and Logicalis policies
  • Support customer service expectations
  • No supervisory responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Equivalent combination accepted
  • Experience advising on compliance enclaves and segmenting CUI
  • Experience verifying FIPS 140-2/3 encryption validation
  • Ability to interpret network diagrams and identify boundary protection and data-flow gaps
  • Knowledge of audit-log requirements for MFA, access control, and system monitoring
  • Mastery of CMMC 2.0 (Level 2) and NIST SP 800-171
  • Superior technical writing skills for SSPs, SOPs, and policies
  • Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR
  • Experience using GRC platforms such as Apptega, FutureFeed, or Microsoft Purview
  • CCP, CISA, or Security+ certifications
  • Ability to work with C-suite executives and client technical teams
  • Proven ability to manage approximately 10 concurrent clients/projects
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and multiple requests
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and translate business data into digestible information
  • Outstanding technical/business communication skills
