Job Description

Corporate Communications Manager shaping FICO's software communications and executive thought leadership. Connecting analytics technology to fraud prevention and community impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape the corporate communications narrative for FICO's Software business, with 75% software communications and 25% Impact work
  • Drive integrated communications strategies and support the evolution of the platform story
  • Support executive thought leadership through intake calls, pitch development, event preparation, social media, and on-site conference support
  • Draft press releases, Q&As, talking points, executive briefing materials, strategy documents, memos, pitches, blog posts, and executive bylines
  • Engage with media, handle urgent requests, staff interviews, and pitch FICO news
  • Manage content pipelines and external PR agency projects and deadlines
  • Secure, coordinate, prepare, and staff executive interviews
  • Collaborate with product, analytics, legal, marketing, Impact, and Corporate Communications teams and regions
  • Support partner announcements, awards programs, award submissions, and external amplification
  • Monitor technology market trends and identify opportunities to drive relevance
  • Drive FICO's financial empowerment narrative through storytelling, thought leadership, earned media, and community engagement
  • Shape B2B and B2C narratives around FICO's fraud and scams solutions
  • Identify and vet events and speaking opportunities connecting software and community impact
  • Keep Impact messaging tied to software consistent across markets and monitor relevant industry news

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or extensive work experience in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications, preferably in B2B technology and/or financial services
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to simplify complex topics across technical, business, and consumer narratives
  • Proven media strategy development and integrated media campaign execution
  • Ability to tailor strategies for B2B and B2C audiences
  • Proactive, detail-oriented mindset and willingness to grow and take ownership
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage competing demands, drafts, deadlines, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work across product, legal, finance, and marketing teams and different leadership styles
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth settings
  • Must be able to work in the United States
