Job Description

Customer Success Manager guiding K–12 school and district accounts through Renaissance’s education technology onboarding, adoption, and renewal. Driving retention, expansion, and successful student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned portfolio customers with significant independence and develop strategic customer relationships across territories
  • Execute impactful strategies to drive strong business results
  • Ensure customers are continuously delighted throughout their journey with Renaissance
  • Partner with Sales on account growth strategies and expansion opportunities
  • Identify, document, and escalate risks; report risks accurately and timely
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and work with Sales to close them
  • Lead complex customer success initiatives and serve as escalation point for sophisticated customer challenges
  • Assist with product order queries and work with Logistics to resolve related issues
  • Ensure customers understand product benefits and features
  • Drive product and deployed hardware engagement and adoption
  • Gather customer feedback for Product Development
  • Monitor dissatisfaction and churn risks and take retention measures
  • Guide new customers through onboarding
  • Drive personalized customer engagement strategies
  • Mentor internal teams and serve as a subject matter expert for customer success strategies and product support
  • Develop product and industry knowledge; contribute to thought-leadership initiatives and customer and industry events

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in Customer Success required
  • Strong understanding of the K12 education competitive landscape
  • Strong organizational, analytical and detail-oriented thinking skills with the ability to operate in a highly efficient manner in a goal-oriented environment
  • Excellent CS strategy acumen with good business development and negotiating skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals and targets and delivering outcomes to customers
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
  • Experience within a SaaS education company (bonus points)
