Job Description
Data Analyst I transforming complex data into actionable insights for Cambium’s business operations. Building reports, improving data processes, and supporting information systems initiatives remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate data from multiple datasets and interpret complex data to produce actionable findings
- Set up, deploy, configure, and monitor multiple systems
- Provide timely, accurate, and reliable management reporting and review data
- Create innovative solutions for complex data analysis requests
- Assist with additional information systems projects as needed
- Verify data quality for accurate analysis and reporting
- Communicate technical findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in virtual meetings and video-based interviews with camera on
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management or a related field and a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated experience (coursework or professional experience) with databases, SQL query development and at least one scripting language (Python, R, or other), OR a Master’s Degree and 1+ years of demonstrated experience
- Detail-oriented with excellent data and quantitative skills
- Ability to apply innovative and resourceful solutions to solve challenges and meet detailed project goals while working autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with ability to organize thoughts, document content, and convey complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other database tools
- Reliable cable or fiber-optic broadband internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload when working remotely
- Ability to actively participate in video-based interviews and ongoing virtual meetings with camera on
