Job Description
Data Engineer at Campfire specializing in digital data collection and analysis. Building scalable data architectures and pipelines for analytics solutions in a fully remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal team members and stakeholders to understand business needs and build data solutions that support analytics and reporting
- Implement scalable and efficient data architectures in cloud environments
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python to ingest, transform, and load data from APIs, SaaS platforms, and operational databases into cloud data platforms
- Build clean, well-structured datasets using SQL and other transformation workflows, following data modeling best practices
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience working with data pipelines, data analysis, or data engineering–related projects (including internships or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of work experience working with cloud platforms such as: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with working in notebook-based environments such as Databricks, Jupyter, or similar platforms
- 1+ years of work experience writing SQL queries across large datasets such as clickstream data (terabytes)
- 1+ years of experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- On-the-job experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps best practices
