Job Description
Data Science Manager leading modelling, experimentation, and a global data science team. Supporting B2Spin’s Free-to-Play Social Casino and gaming products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the data science team across product, marketing, performance, and other areas
- Report to the Head of Data
- Own team output across verticals and shape and prioritize the data science roadmap
- Translate stakeholder needs into team priorities and communicate trade-offs and results to non-technical audiences
- Review modelling approaches, experimental design, and causal inference work
- Pair, deliver, or course-correct directly when coverage or quality requires it
- Hire, coach, and grow data scientists
- Run the hiring loop and lead 1:1s
- Partner with the Head of Data on performance, compensation, and career development
- Drive rigorous A/B testing, quasi-experimental methods, and causal thinking across product and performance tracks
Requirements:
- Hands-on data science background with a track record of delivering models, experiments, or analyses used by other teams
- Demonstrated depth in at least one domain: Recommendation Systems, Experimental Design and Causal Inference, Customer Segmentation, Churn Prediction, Fraud/Anomaly Detection, or CRM analytics
- Strong command of statistical methods, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, and causal inference
- Evidence of leading others as a tech lead, mentor, or hiring interviewer
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Ability to provide precise technical feedback and communicate clearly with senior non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a nice-to-have
- Educational path is not a barrier to joining the company
