Job Description
Data Scientist 2 developing machine learning models and analyzing large datasets for Comcast Advertising. Collaborating with teams to deliver data-driven insights and scalable analytical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build and validate machine learning, statistical, and optimization models for business use cases.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify actionable insights and recommend solutions.
- Develop automated analytical workflows, reports, dashboards, and reusable data pipelines.
- Assist Senior Data Scientists to evaluate model performance and document methodologies.
- Present technical findings and business impact to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to translate business requirements into data science solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; Spark/ PySpark experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, tree-based models, deep learning) and statistical analysis.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, MLOps , or Generative AI concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
