Job Description

Dealer Relations Manager driving CRM product adoption and retention for automotive dealerships. Coaching dealers, managing implementations, and supporting accounts across the Boston region.

Responsibilities:

  • Build high-level relationships throughout the dealership
  • Understand dealer partners’ goals, pain points, markets, competitors and automotive business trends
  • Provide customer service through coaching, training and consultation
  • Leverage software platform and service knowledge to implement processes and support appropriate dealership usage
  • Manage day-to-day dealer relationships and champion product adoption and ongoing use
  • Execute launch planning and manage product implementation
  • Deliver initial and ongoing dealer training, including regular monthly performance visits
  • Serve as the first point of contact for dealership issues and follow up on escalated issues
  • Bring product best practices into client organizations and support the company value proposition
  • Communicate and implement product changes, new features and releases in accounts
  • Cover a geographical area as part of a larger team reporting to a Director of Dealer Relations
  • Retain 20+ accounts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field
  • 3-5 years professional experience working in sales, marketing or customer service in a luxury automotive retail environment
  • Significant experience working with CRM tools and ease with technology
  • Ability to travel as needed within the defined territory
  • Ability to think quickly and handle ambiguity
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Ability to establish rapport and develop meaningful client relationships
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Ability to solicit feedback, ask clarifying questions and resolve issues non-confrontationally
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
  • Ability to schedule and prioritize work
  • Ability to assess performance and adapt work to achieve better results
  • Ability to travel 25% within the region and nationally as needed
  • Valid unrestricted driver license required
