Job Description
Delivery Program Manager operating Docker’s enterprise implementation engagements for AI and cloud-native deployments. Building repeatable Professional Services offerings, governance, and delivery processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operationalize the end-to-end engagement lifecycle from scoping and kickoff through delivery, handoff, and retrospectives
- Directly manage customer engagements, including planning, governance cadences, milestones, risks, dependencies, and escalations
- Review technical assumptions in scopes and Statements of Work with solution architects
- Own customer readiness, acceptance criteria, and handoff to Support and Technical Account Managers
- Create reusable delivery assets such as playbooks, runbooks, SOW templates, reference architectures, and onboarding workshops or guides
- Turn repeatable customer patterns into packaged, fixed-scope offerings with defined outcomes, durations, and pricing inputs
- Build and maintain the sales-cycle engagement model and Services intake process
- Build program management and governance infrastructure, including intake frameworks, capacity planning models, risk registers, dashboards, and milestone tracking
- Define and report delivery KPIs including on-time delivery, utilization, engagement margin, and customer satisfaction
- Own SOW amendment and change-order processes
- Partner with Legal on SOW frameworks and language
- Shadow scoping calls and review active projects during the first 30 days
- Audit the existing SOW process and template library
- Meet key partners across Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Forward Deployed Engineering, Technical Account Management, Finance, and Legal
- Manage the first customer engagement directly by the first 60 days
- Document the current delivery framework and identify process improvements
- Autonomously manage customer engagements and support quarterly reviews and retrospectives
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in technical program management, professional services, forward deployed engineering services, or equivalent cross-functional roles
- Experience at a B2B SaaS, developer tooling, or infrastructure software company delivering implementation, migration, or adoption engagements to enterprise customers
- Demonstrated experience building programs, processes, or practices from scratch
- Strong technical fluency and comfort participating in systems architecture discussions
- Understanding of system dependencies
- Strong structured problem solving, facilitation, and systems thinking
- Experience with Professional Services tooling and business systems, such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or PSA tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to produce executive-grade program readouts and customer-facing documentation
- High personal accountability and comfort owning ambiguous problems with limited oversight
- Preferred: professional services, consulting, or delivery experience at an infrastructure software vendor or systems integrator
- Preferred: experience with Looker, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
- Preferred: experience scaling a Professional Services, delivery, or support services organization
- Preferred: experience building engagements with third-party partners and system integrators
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country where applying
