Job Description

Aledade, a value-based primary-care network, seeking a remote Director of Security Operations in the United States. Leading SOC operations, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the organization’s security operations center (SOC)
  • Manage a team of security professionals
  • Develop and implement security policies
  • Develop incident response protocols
  • Develop security monitoring strategies
  • Identify and mitigate security threats to protect organizational assets, data, and reputation
  • Develop strategies to manage security risks and balance short- and long-term business impact
  • Oversee SOC operations, incident response, threat management, security monitoring, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security policies, compliance, and risk management
  • Anticipate AI/AIOps trends to optimize automation, log ingestion, and threat response
  • Develop security talent through hiring and actionable feedback
  • Set clear goals and remove roadblocks for the team
  • Build cross-functional relationships and collaborate with organizational partners
  • Work with company-wide leaders to improve processes and systems protecting patients, employees, and Aledade

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in security operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
  • Proven experience managing a SOC and leading incident response efforts
  • Strong understanding of SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
