Job Description
Early Careers Manager shaping apprenticeships, graduate schemes and internships at Biffa. Building inclusive talent pipelines for the UK’s leading business waste management company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Biffa’s early careers programmes for apprentices, graduates, interns and work experience placements
- Build structured programmes that inspire, challenge and empower future talent
- Run recruitment campaigns and outreach initiatives to attract candidates
- Provide development, mentoring and career progression for early careers talent
- Build partnerships with universities, colleges, schools and training providers
- Measure impact, track progress and refine strategies to support retention and development
- Ensure programmes are accessible and equitable for underrepresented talent
- Develop partnerships with the DWP and leading charities to promote social mobility
- Collaborate across the business on government-backed initiatives such as the Armed Forces Covenant and Disability Confident Scheme
Requirements:
- Experience designing and delivering standout apprenticeship, graduate, or early careers programmes
- Strong stakeholder management with ability to forge strong partnerships both internally and externally, including schools and universities
- Ability to challenge, influence and inspire
- Confidence with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
