Job Description

Employee Relations Manager overseeing employee matters and HR functions at Fresenius Medical Care. Investigating issues, providing coaching, and addressing employee relations concerns across various locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and executes Employee Relations matters
  • Investigates issues and provides day-to-day coaching and advice
  • Handles a wide range of general employee relations matters including performance management
  • Provides counsel and recommendations in accordance with all Legislative and Regulatory requirements
  • Addresses concerns of a diverse scope and demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Escalates sensitive or critical issues appropriately
  • Provides emergency response and crisis management support to employees

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable
  • SHRM Certification and/or HRCI (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, PHR) is desirable
  • Minimum 3-5 years in direct and consistent Employee Relations positions with prior experience in HR Generalist in a large organization
  • Strong business acumen including financial and business operations
  • Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws including all leave and accommodations regulations
  • Unquestionable commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and privacy
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Position may require 10% travel including overnight travel
