Job Description
Engineering Manager leading nearshore software engineering teams at AspenView. Driving technical delivery, team development, and AI-driven practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, and other technology professionals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Oversee the end-to-end technical execution of multiple client engagements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams on architecture, technology, and implementation.
- Support the recruitment lifecycle for technology.
- Design and oversee training and development programs for the team.
- Drive the development and integration of AI-powered coding tools and delivery practices to improve efficiency, quality, and speed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years in software development with strong Java / Spring Boot expertise.
- 3+ years managing engineering teams.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, API Gateway).
- Experience building cloud-native microservices architectures.
- Experience implementing AI-driven coding tools.
- Strong agile and DevOps expertise.
- Experience hiring and developing backend/fullstack engineers.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (nice to have).
- A strong interest and understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in software development (nice to have).
