Job Description

Enterprise Client Director expanding Workiva’s AI-powered finance, risk, and sustainability platform in Italy. Driving strategic sales, executive relationships, account growth, and complex SaaS deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain new business and customer expansion sales opportunities from executive-level buyers and influencers
  • Sell Workiva’s core platform and collaborate with Solution Sales teams on multi-solution sales
  • Build relationships and identify Workiva products and solutions that meet customer needs
  • Drive customer acquisition through new subscriptions, professional services, delivery, and training
  • Drive sales and build relationships with major customer accounts
  • Engage existing and new clients to address complex business needs using Workiva’s platform
  • Seek sales opportunities with peer Sales teams, Inside Sales, and Partnerships to generate qualified pipeline
  • Conduct needs analysis and deliver compelling Workiva platform demonstrations
  • Address customer objections and resolve client challenges
  • Lead sales processes through close by demonstrating Workiva’s value proposition
  • Update CRM tools with customer contacts
  • Analyze pipelines and provide accurate forecasts
  • Develop and deliver strategic account plans
  • Rally internal support and optimize resources for account pursuits
  • Prioritize sales activities and ensure timely follow-through
  • Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training
  • Share knowledge, successes, lessons learned, and best practices; mentor peers

Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in a related role involving enterprise technology or complex solution sales across major customer accounts
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model
  • Ability to demonstrate complex software applications
  • Experience navigating and delivering sales success across large, enterprise organizations
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex business challenges
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate at the most senior level
  • Ability to identify and understand influencers versus buyers and navigate sales-cycle nuances
  • Ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously
  • Excellent account planning capabilities
  • Ability to negotiate pricing while retaining value
  • Consistent capability for achieving and exceeding sales quota targets
  • Up to 30% travel for regular customer meetings and events
  • Reliable internet access required when working remotely and not in a Workiva office
