Job Description

Expansion Account Executive growing mid-market customer accounts for MaintainX, a mobile-first industrial work execution platform. Driving renewals, expansions, product demonstrations, and sales forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Own a book of business from post-sale handoff through renewal and expansion
  • Engage and build relationships with mid-market customers
  • Identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Proactively identify customer needs and provide innovative solutions
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews
  • Assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
  • Present tailored product demonstrations and communicate solution value and impact
  • Manage client requests, demos, proposals, and follow-ups
  • Use Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and other sales systems
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast monthly and quarterly expansion opportunities with +/- 15% accuracy
  • Document customer interactions, deals, and progress accurately and promptly
  • Embrace an entrepreneurial startup mentality
  • Drive sales growth, client retention, and account expansion for MaintainX, a mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of sales experience, with significant experience in account management or a similar mid-market role
  • Demonstrated success expanding client accounts and driving revenue growth in a B2B sales environment
  • Experience navigating larger deals, complex sales cycles, and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate data-driven insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to conduct product demonstrations and lead quarterly business reviews
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, rapidly changing sales environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Positive, passionate, creative, and high-character mindset aligned with company values
  • Willingness to improve through coaching and learn about customers’ industries
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in a relevant field
  • Daily verbal and written communication in English with customers
  • Ability to manage and support a customer portfolio primarily based in US and English-speaking Canada
  • Experience with modern sales technology stacks such as Salesforce, Salesloft, and DiscoverOrg is a bonus
  • Startup or entrepreneurial organization experience is a bonus
  • CMMS or facility operations software experience is a bonus
  • Documented remote-work experience is a bonus
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada or the United States
