Job Description

Finance & Grants Analyst providing financial analysis and grants management support for California business unit. Collaborating with program teams to resolve financial and grants-related questions while advancing conservation outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized finance and grants management support to the California business unit
  • Contribute across core areas including financial analysis and reporting, financial management, accounting, auditing, and public grants administration
  • Partner closely with program teams and staff at all levels, providing guidance, insight, and support to help advance conservation outcomes
  • Serve as a key resource for complex financial and grants-related questions, applying sound judgment and deep knowledge to resolve issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4 years of related experience (or equivalent combination)
  • Experience with financial analysis tools, including spreadsheets, general ledger reporting, and financial management systems
  • Experience with grant accounting and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with U.S. Federal Uniform Guidance, state and local regulations, and standard grant and contract requirements
  • Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems
  • Experience with government regulations related to grants and contracts
