Job Description
Finance Process Lead at Otis, managing pricing strategies and analyzing financial data for the elevator sector. Supporting automation and standardization initiatives to drive accuracy and market insights.
Responsibilities:
- Support automation and standardization initiatives across various areas
- Analyze results and forecasts for New Equipment & Modernization segments
- Automate actuals reporting i.e., monthly dashboards, margin analysis
- Enhance forecast modelling and process and drive forecast accuracy
- Assist the forecast analytics with S&M leads (CRM opportunity, R&O action plan etc.) and initiatives to achieve plan
- Consolidation of market data – share insights with finance and S&M to understand SoS performance and set targets
- Build pricing intelligence – working with DT to enhance data analytics capabilities and collect market intelligence from S&M to compare positioning vs competitors
- Monitor actual price flowing into the P&L to identify leakage and opportunities to improve
- Align with S&M on the price targets for the plan process based on a pre-agreed methodology
- Develop and maintain pricing policies, procedures, and standard work documentation
- Ad hoc analysis as we look for new ways to analyze the business and new ideas to drive growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing, finance, or a related role
- Knowledge of varied financial, sales and field management tools (ERPs / CRMs etc.)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the industry relevant to the company's products/services
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
