Job Description
Fleet Support Manager managing fleet data, reporting, suppliers and procurement for Biffa, a UK waste-management company. Fixed-term maternity cover through October 2027.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and analyse information from Fleetwave, suppliers and other data sources
- Produce reports that provide insight into fleet performance, costs and opportunities
- Manage the vehicle movement process and maintain accurate asset information
- Produce fleet reports, datasets and management information
- Monitor supplier performance, KPIs and pricing
- Identify opportunities to improve fleet utilisation and replacement planning
- Act as a key user of Fleetwave, supporting reporting, compliance and trend analysis
- Contribute to fleet procurement projects, tender documentation, business cases and vehicle ordering
- Work with Fleet, Finance, operational teams, suppliers and other key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Strong organisation and analytical skills
- Confidence working with systems, data and reports
- Strong attention to detail
- Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Previous experience of system administration, data management, reporting and data analysis
- Ability to manage own workload
- Ability to communicate confidently with people at different levels
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Experience within the waste industry, transport or logistics, B2B service delivery or management systems such as ISO would be advantageous but is not essential
