Job Description

Freelance Video Editor creating shortform wine ads and future TAFKA videos for Vino Digital, an e-commerce agency for wineries. Editing DaVinci projects and using AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle post-production in existing DaVinci projects.
  • Edit vertical-format ads for partner wineries.
  • Further edit existing versions and implement minor re-edits.
  • Bring together strong hooks, clear pacing, suitable B-roll, titles, natural color correction, and intelligible audio.
  • Keep media properly linked, edit timelines in a clear and traceable way, and export final versions according to the established process.
  • Use AI to accelerate repetitive tasks and suggest improved workflows.
  • In the longer term, edit 5–10-minute long-form videos for TAFKA with modern editing, strong openings, animations, and embedded visuals.
  • Ideally use Claude to animate supplied HTML content and embed the results in videos.
  • Work with briefs, raw footage, assets, templates, and documented processes.

Requirements:

  • DaVinci Resolve Studio: you are highly proficient in the software and use it confidently.
  • Having your own Studio license is ideal; if necessary, we can provide one.
  • Convincing work samples for both short-form ads and longer videos.
  • Practical experience with AI tools and the ability to explain how they make your work faster or better.
  • Experience with DaVinci MCP is a plus.
  • Excellent German: able to confidently edit German scripts, on-screen text, and corrections.
  • Independent, focused, and goal-oriented approach to work.
  • Request missing information or assets early and report obstacles directly.
  • Reliable communication: respond within 24 hours on business days.
  • Google Mail address for coordination via Google Chat.
  • When availability has been agreed, generally deliver the first cut within one to two business days after the agreed start date.
  • Blackmagic Cloud account for the shared project library.
  • Computer and internet connection capable of handling the projects reliably.

Benefits:

  • 100% remote: work wherever suits you best.
  • Long-term collaboration: initially a package of 10–20 hours, followed by approximately 4–8 hours per month as a guideline.
  • Advance notice: we usually announce new work about two weeks in advance or agree on specific time windows with you.
  • Clear framework: documented processes, briefs, and existing projects provide a fast onboarding experience.
  • Shared workflow: DaVinci Cloud for projects, and Google Drive and Insync for local file synchronization.
  • We cover the cost of Insync.
  • Direct communication: brief coordination, specific feedback, and room for meaningful improvement suggestions.
