Job Description
Full Stack Developer joining a team to enhance an open-source AI chat platform. Responsibilities include building features with React and Node.js while managing databases and real-time integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend parts of the application
- Build new chat features and integrate AI providers
- Work with React on the frontend and Node.js / Express on the backend
- Design and optimize databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
- Implement real-time features (WebSockets)
- Integrate AI models using modern protocols and standards (including MCP – Model Context Protocol)
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Deploy and maintain the application using Docker
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Full Stack experience (JavaScript / TypeScript)
- 2+ years of React experience
- 2+ years of Node.js / Express experience
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB
- Experience with containerized applications (Docker)
- Experience integrating AI systems using MCP or similar protocols
