Job Description
Account Manager selling AVEVA industrial software and data solutions to Northeast USA customers. Acquiring new accounts, expanding existing relationships, and managing complex sales pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth by selling AVEVA’s suite of products and services to new and growth customers
- Identify and engage customers that have not previously used AVEVA solutions, securing new logos
- Develop and nurture existing customer relationships to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities and increase ARR
- Develop and execute account plans from prospecting and lead qualification through deal closure
- Achieve revenue targets and maintain accurate forecasts
- Collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional resources to support account management
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products to position AVEVA solutions
- Deliver sales presentations addressing business needs and demonstrating AVEVA technology differentiation
- Proactively resolve customer issues with internal teams
- Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce and the MEDDPICC methodology
- Complete regular regional travel and occasional international travel
Requirements:
- Proven track record in direct sales, including relationship-building at all levels within client organizations
- Experience selling SaaS or DaaS (Data as a Service) solutions
- Strong business development experience focused on acquiring new customers
- Demonstrated ability to close complex software and product agreements and own the entire sales process
- Experience in industrial software, engineering software, or automation highly preferred
- Knowledge of IT applications within process and automation industries preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce and the MEDDPICC sales framework preferred
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
- Organized and detail-focused, with ability to manage multiple tasks
- Regular regional travel required, with occasional international travel
- Only candidates within the Northeastern USA will be considered
- Relocation is not provided
