Job Description
Healthcare Appointment Setter role focused on generating appointments for a Canadian home healthcare provider. Outbound calling to healthcare referral partners and nurturing relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to pre-qualified healthcare referral partners.
- Introduce the organization's home healthcare services and generate interest.
- Identify, qualify, and connect with healthcare decision-makers.
- Schedule qualified meetings for the business owners.
- Build and nurture relationships with referral partners through consistent follow-up.
- Professionally handle gatekeepers, objections, and initial rejections.
- Maintain accurate prospect records in Zoho CRM.
- Document call outcomes, notes, and next steps.
- Schedule and manage follow-up activities.
- Track and manage the referral partner pipeline.
- Use Zoom Phone for outbound calling.
- Provide regular reports on outreach activities and appointment-setting results.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
- Conduct lead research and prospecting for future outreach campaigns.
- Expand and maintain the referral prospect database as outreach efforts grow.
Requirements:
- Experience in healthcare sales, appointment setting, business development, or outbound prospecting.
- Hands-on experience using Zoho CRM (required).
- Strong outbound calling and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with healthcare professionals and business decision-makers.
- Experience booking appointments and managing follow-up pipelines.
- Ability to confidently navigate gatekeepers and overcome objections.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Accurate CRM documentation and record management.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Professional, confident, and personable communication style.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, accountable, and consistent.

- Experience in home healthcare, home care, or medical services.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and referral-based businesses.
- Experience using Zoom Phone or similar cloud phone systems.
- Basic Requirements
- Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
- Must have relevant work experience.
- Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
- Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
