Job Description
Hematology Business Manager promoting PharmaEssentia’s BESREMi® treatment across Omaha or Minneapolis territories. Driving oncology sales through customer education, strategic account plans, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Promote PharmaEssentia products, including BESREMi®, to approved targeted customers and distribution channels
- Cover two existing base territories in the region with an individual target list and geography-based targets
- Build and execute strategic territory plans across stakeholders involved in patient care
- Educate hematologists/oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy and therapeutics groups, teaching institutions, hospitals, and formulary committees about BESREMi®
- Communicate BESREMi®’s clinical profile and pivotal trial data
- Address clinical and non-clinical barriers to treatment adoption
- Partner with market access and medical teams to provide comprehensive customer solutions
- Develop territory business plans and account/prescriber action plans
- Use analytics to understand trends and track progress against goals
- Meet and exceed business objectives through planning, collaboration, and effective use of tools and resources
- Develop disease-state, clinical, product, competitive, market-access, and customer expertise
- Evaluate plans and course-correct based on evolving business dynamics
- Use CRM to assess and track customer status and progress sales plans
- Complete sales administration requirements, including T&E, compliance SOPs, and Sunshine reporting
- Develop new leads and drive sales results across a large geographic territory
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
- Experience in hematology, solid tumor, or rare disease
- Consistent track record of hematology oncology sales experience in academic and community-based institutions
- Experience in new product launches required
- Existing relationships with key customers, such as KOLs and key account leadership, highly valued
- Experience and understanding of commercial functions such as marketing, market access, sales operations, sales training, insights/analytics, and business development preferred
- Experience working in a start-up company environment preferred
- Specialty pharmacy knowledge preferred
- Track record of performance and passion for making a difference for patients
- Ability to understand patient identification, clinical conviction, access and reimbursement barriers, and distribution
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong leadership presence
- Ability to adapt to changes and maintain a big-picture view amid uncertainty and ambiguity
- High ethical standards and patient-first focus
- Strong critical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills
- Strong sales hunter mentality and ability to develop new leads
- Advanced business acumen and granular account-management skills
- Successful experience covering large geographical territories autonomously
- Must reside in the Omaha, Nebraska or Minneapolis, Minnesota area
