Job Description
Human Resources Specialist handling talent acquisition and recruitment for Salinas Valley Health. Collaborating with hiring managers and conducting interviews to fulfill staffing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Talent Acquisition related duties at the professional level
- Fulfill SVMH’s talent needs through proactive external talent sourcing and recruitment
- Complete intake and strategy sessions with hiring managers
- Proactively source talent through various recruitment channels
- Screen interest to narrow the applicant pool and present qualified applicants to the hiring manager
- Conduct assessment interviews for hard-to-fill and leadership positions
- Advise leaders on the standard talent selection process
- Prepare the conditional offer, references, and negotiate on behalf of the hiring manager
- Assist with special projects as necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in business or Human Resources related field strongly preferred
- HRCI or SHRM HR certification is preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience preferably in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, Talent Sourcing and Executive Level Recruitment.
