Job Description

Human Resources Specialist handling talent acquisition and recruitment for Salinas Valley Health. Collaborating with hiring managers and conducting interviews to fulfill staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Talent Acquisition related duties at the professional level
  • Fulfill SVMH’s talent needs through proactive external talent sourcing and recruitment
  • Complete intake and strategy sessions with hiring managers
  • Proactively source talent through various recruitment channels
  • Screen interest to narrow the applicant pool and present qualified applicants to the hiring manager
  • Conduct assessment interviews for hard-to-fill and leadership positions
  • Advise leaders on the standard talent selection process
  • Prepare the conditional offer, references, and negotiate on behalf of the hiring manager
  • Assist with special projects as necessary

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or Human Resources related field strongly preferred
  • HRCI or SHRM HR certification is preferred
  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience preferably in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, Talent Sourcing and Executive Level Recruitment.
