Job Description
ATO Lead preparing VA records application authority-to-operate packages under the Risk Management Framework. Supporting security controls, continuous monitoring, remediation, and Zero Trust governance remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain authority to operate (ATO) packages under the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Document security controls and gather control evidence
- Support continuous monitoring and remediation tracking
- Support Zero Trust data security governance as needed
- Work half-time on the proposed Department of Veterans Affairs support contract
- Occasional travel to Washington, DC
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship required
- Able to obtain and keep a VA Tier 1 / Low Risk background investigation
- Complete VA privacy and security training
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of information security, including assessment and authorization work
- VA ATO lead experience preferred
- Experience with eMASS preferred
- CISSP or CISM preferred
