Job Description

Insurance Verification Representative providing verification for insured patients at Bozeman Health. Handling patient inquiries and posting payments in compliance with department goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides insurance verification for insured patients
  • Informs patients of financial obligations at time of service
  • Responds to internal and external phone calls regarding patients’ insurance verification inquiries
  • Processes and posts patient payments in accordance with department policies and performance goals
  • Performs in-depth insurance benefit verification with all payer sources

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Customer service experience
  • 2 years of experience working for or with medical insurance companies in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in verifying eligibility and benefit limits
