Job Description
Insurance Verification Representative providing verification for insured patients at Bozeman Health. Handling patient inquiries and posting payments in compliance with department goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provides insurance verification for insured patients
- Informs patients of financial obligations at time of service
- Responds to internal and external phone calls regarding patients’ insurance verification inquiries
- Processes and posts patient payments in accordance with department policies and performance goals
- Performs in-depth insurance benefit verification with all payer sources
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Customer service experience
- 2 years of experience working for or with medical insurance companies in a healthcare setting
- Experience in verifying eligibility and benefit limits
