Job Description

Integration Manager managing post-merger integrations for Podean, a global marketing agency. Overseeing integration planning and execution across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage post-merger integrations from Day 1 planning through to full operational integration
  • Build integration plans for each acquisition, including timelines, milestones, owners, and dependencies across functions
  • Run the integration management office — chair workstream meetings, track progress, and report status to the executive team
  • Partner with workstream leads across Finance, People, Tech, Operations, Client Services, Media, and Commercial to align on priorities and unblock cross-functional issues
  • Lead the operational and systems integration workstream — folding acquired tools, processes, and data into Podean’s stack
  • Partner with Client Services and Commercial leaders to integrate acquired client books, contracts, and revenue operations
  • Partner with the People team on culture and change management — onboarding new teams, aligning on ways of working, and keeping the employee experience consistent through transitions
  • Track integration KPIs against the deal thesis and report on synergy capture, client and talent retention, and milestone delivery
  • Identify risks early, escalate to the COO and exec team, and drive resolution before they become blockers
  • Build a repeatable integration playbook so each new acquisition gets faster and smoother
  • Run lessons-learned reviews after each integration and feed improvements back into the playbook
  • Coordinate Day 1 readiness across deal close logistics, internal communications, and external announcements
  • Stand up the integration governance and cadence — steering committee, working teams, decision logs — and adapt it deal by deal

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of project or program management experience, with at least 3 years running M&A integration workstreams
  • Hands-on experience managing post-merger integrations end-to-end, including Day 1 planning and operational integration
  • Track record managing cross-functional projects across Finance, People, Tech, Operations, and Commercial workstreams
  • Strong project management toolkit — integration planning, milestone tracking, and clear executive reporting
  • Comfortable presenting to and partnering with executive leadership, including translating deal thesis into operational integration plans
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills — able to influence without authority across functions, geographies, and seniority levels
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and bringing structure to fast-moving situations
  • Strong analytical mindset — comfortable working with financial, operational, and people data to track integration progress
  • Clear, concise communicator — equally comfortable in a working session, a written status update, and an exec readout
  • Experience working in or alongside a fast-growing, globally distributed organization
  • High degree of cultural sensitivity — integrations involve people, not just systems. Bonus: experience in marketing, advertising, or agency environments

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation aligned to experience and market benchmarks
  • Remote-first flexibility - work from anywhere, with trust and autonomy
  • Global collaboration - working with experts across regions and time zones
  • Career growth and development - opportunities to evolve as we scale
  • 5-Year Sabbatical + Travel Stipend - After your 5-year anniversary, take a fully paid month-long sabbatical, plus a travel reimbursement to make your experience restorative and inspiring
  • Positive-energy culture - grounded in respect, inclusion, and accountability
