Job Description
iOS/Android Engineer for the Vivo App at a leading telecom company, collaborating on native features and SDK integrations. Ensure build quality and performance optimizations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the native side (iOS and/or Android) to enable features for the Vivo App, including integrations with mobile ecosystem SDKs and development/support of plugins used by the Flutter app.
- Ensure excellence in build and release processes: code signing, provisioning profiles, entitlements (iOS), Gradle/flavors configuration (Android), key management, and compliance with app stores.
- Collaborate on mobile CI/CD (e.g., automation with Fastlane, macOS runners) and on quality gates (lint, tests, security), ensuring reliable deliveries.
- Diagnose and optimize stability and performance (e.g., crash rate, ANR, startup time), supporting instrumentation and monitoring.
- Support the testing strategy (unit tests, widget/integration tests for the app, and device farm testing), ensuring regression control and quality prior to releases.
- Promote technical standards within the Platform App Vivo team: code reviews, documentation of technical decisions (ADRs), security best practices, and mentorship.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields (desired).
- iOS: Swift, Xcode, code signing, entitlements, profiling and SDK integration.
- Android: Kotlin, Android Studio, Gradle, app links, permissions, and SDK integration.
- Mobile CI/CD: build/release automation (e.g., Fastlane), macOS runners, versioning and changelogs.
- Collaboration: Git, code review, feature flags, and documentation of technical decisions.
- Systems thinking, clear communication, and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
- Strong focus on quality, security and user experience throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Fundamentals of DevOps/Git, Scrum/Kanban, mobile security practices and app store publishing.
