Job Description
IT Support Technician providing first-line technical support to employees in a global fuel storage company. Ensuring effective use of IT systems and contributing to development of technology environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to employees across the business
- Ensure effective, secure, and reliable use of IT systems and services
- Support day-to-day service desk operations
- Maintain IT equipment and software
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of technology environment
- Manage, maintain, and support systems, software applications, and equipment
- Manage the ordering, installation, replacement, setup, and build of end-user IT hardware
- Act as the escalation point for the Exolum 1st Line Helpdesk
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Requirements:
- Proactive and customer-focused IT professional
- Solid technical knowledge across Microsoft technologies
- Experience supporting users in a fast-paced business environment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, Active Directory, networking, and mobile devices
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, virtualisation technologies, endpoint security solutions, and Mobile Device Management platforms is advantageous
- Willingness to travel to Exolum sites when required
- Full UK driving licence
