Job Description
Japanese-English interpreters providing OPI, VRI, and scheduled sessions. Facilitating critical medical and legal communication remotely for a media company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Japanese-English interpretation for medical and legal scenarios
- Deliver over-the-phone interpretation (OPI)
- Deliver video remote interpretation (VRI)
- Conduct scheduled interpretation sessions
- Facilitate critical communication in life-changing legal and medical situations
- Complete fast-tracked onboarding and begin active projects quickly
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of professional interpretation experience
- Proven expertise in Medical or Legal sectors
- Availability for OPI, VRI, or scheduled appointments
- High level of listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
- Professional, HIPAA-compliant setup
- Wired USB headset with noise cancellation
- At least 10 Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed
- English resume including relevant experience
