Job Description
Java Developer turning complex data into measurable outcomes at GDIT for USPS. Involved in developing solutions that streamline operations and enhance user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain software solutions for our customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements
- Optimize business functions at USPS through technology
- Ensure a seamless user experience by integrating cutting-edge technologies
- Supervise project planning and development processes
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of Information Technology experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred or alternatively 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Experience developing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering best practices
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with Spring Framework
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools
