Job Description
Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer developing scalable web features and improving APIs at Zipline. Shape robust systems while contributing to AI-powered initiatives in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Defining and improving useful APIs for customers
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable features for web-based applications
- Maintain and enhance existing features, adapting them for an evolving market
- Evangelize coding, testing, and performance best practices with the team
- Collaborate with product, design, and customer success teams on new customer-focused features
Requirements:
- Significant relevant production experience with large-scale Ruby on Rails applications
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Preference for taking projects from inception to completion and being outcome-oriented
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, database design, and the Ruby language
- Proactive communication and time management as a remote employee
- Pride in craft, valuing clean code that scales for large teams
- Interest or experience with AI/ML technologies, especially in content generation or data structuring.
