Job Description

JavaScript Developer supporting modernization and sustainment of NASA applications. Collaborating in Agile development environments to deliver robust software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the modernization and sustainment of a large portfolio of enterprise business solutions used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
  • Support the NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) which consolidates enterprise-wide applications and platform services across the Agency
  • Support the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Application Division transformation into the Application and Platform Service (APS) Line with agile based service delivery and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) based service management practices
  • Operate independently in an Agile development environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Javascript, including server-side and client-side scripting
  • Experience working in an ITIL/Agile environment
  • Experience with technical documentation, story refinement, and tracking code changes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities in an Agile development and able to operate independently
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required: Yes
  • 3+ years ServiceNow experience preferred
  • ServiceNow certification: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer is a plus
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow Glide APIs and infrastructure
