Job Description
Junior Back-End Engineer developing scalable backend services and REST APIs for a leading SaaS provider. Join a dynamic team focused on innovative digital transformation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using .NET / .NET Core (C#).
- Write clean, testable code following established best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and bug fixes.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases and support data modeling and queries.
- Assist with Docker-based development and cloud deployments.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and learn modern backend and microservices concepts.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of professional experience in software development (or equivalent experience through internships, academic projects, or bootcamps).
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code and expose functionality through REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience or strong foundational knowledge of .NET / .NET Core (C#).
- Familiarity with backend frameworks and libraries commonly used in the .NET ecosystem (e.g., ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework).
- Basic understanding of containerized application development using Docker.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server, and basic knowledge of NoSQL solutions like MongoDB or Redis.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially using managed or PaaS services.
- Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and basic system design concepts.
