Job Description
Engenheiro de Software Java desenvolvendo e mantendo aplicações, APIs e testes no PagBank. Contribuindo para soluções que facilitam a vida financeira de pessoas e negócios.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java applications, following software development best practices
- Participate in gathering and understanding business and technical requirements with support from the team
- Assist in preparing and updating technical documentation, workflows, and diagrams
- Implement enhancements and fixes in existing systems
- Support the identification and resolution of application issues through code analysis and debugging
- Collaborate with more experienced developers on the evolution and maintenance of systems
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute suggestions for improving products and processes
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
- Support the development and maintenance of APIs and services
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams using agile methodologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Knowledge of Java development
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of version control using Git
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and basic design pattern concepts
- Knowledge of automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with Spring Boot is a plus
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools is a plus
- Familiarity with Python and artificial intelligence applications is a plus
